Endless Engines

This film was my entry for Pwnisher‘s Endless Engines competition.

Screenshots from LeoCAD, the software I used to model the Lego objects, brick by brick.

The Blender T-Rex rig using child of constraints for the tail and IK constraints for the legs.

The Blender jeep rig, using a mix of keyframe animation, rigid body physics for collisions and shrinkwrap constraints to get the wheels to follow the dirt road.

The output is split in 3 different formats, as the beauty passes are rendered in half float exrs, the utility passes in full float exrs and the cryptomatte passes in full float multilayer exrs.
